I'm not the best with long speeches or grand romantic gestures (because tbh, I've overthought this), but I still wanted to make something that felt personal and captures how much I've come to care about you.
So, instead of a failed fancy date, I built this little website, just for you. Every bit of color, every word, is my way of saying you're very special to me.
There's gold for the warmth you bring, pink for the sweetness of your heart, and white for the calm you somehow bring into every space. It's simple, honest and it's from me, to you.
Our story started in the spring on Hinge, as you already know. I still remember our first few messages, how I thought we'd meet up… and then, how you disappeared (which is okay).
But as fate (and maybe a good Hinge match algorithm) would have it, summer brought us back together. Timing that perfectly worked out.
Maybe it's cheesy to say, but I think that's how you know something is meant to be: You can drift apart for a while and somehow find your way back again. So, if this is how our story begins, I wouldn't change a single detail.
Somewhere between dates, conversations and the calls we had when you were in Cali, I realized how easy it is to be around you. You get excited about the little things, and that energy is contagious. It makes everything lighter.
These past few weeks have been steady, real, and kind of magical. We said we would see where this goes, and now here we are Week 3 and I'm sure of one thing: I really like you.
So, instead of just saying it in passing, I wanted to make it something you can remember.
No pressure at all. Whatever you say, I'm grateful for the laughs, the chats, and every moment. You've already made these past weeks better than I expected.
If it's a yes, I will be extremely happy. If it's a no, I'll suck it up (and not talk to you again).
Either way, thank you for being part of my little story. You've been my favorite chapter so far.
